Birth Story – Natural twin birth.

I am in awe of this incredible women. I have known Karin for over 15 years and had the honour of supporting her in her first pregnancy and birth 2.5 years ago.

When she told me she was expecting twins I was so excited for her and the potential experience of birthing two babies naturally!

Pregnancy was hard on her body but despite the challenges she grew her two healthy babies to term. Pre-labour continued for almost a week with contractions on and off.

Her waters broke on the couch and active labour began, 11 hours later twin A was earth-side, 7 minutes after that Twin B was welcomed feet first.

Continuity of care. Trusting her body and babies to be born. Her birth team supported her and her choices. It is possible!
